# Notifications

BugRecon can send you **notifications** when certain events occur, so you don’t have to watch the UI constantly.

![Notification](https://1075470145-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FV2n4UTcrS4SHhY2NTi0v%2Fuploads%2Fgit-blob-54779f7e618acf6a6a7417f56885ff143544a47f%2Fnotification.png?alt=media)

## Discord

* **Setup:** Add your Discord **webhook URL** in **API Keys** → Notification Services → Discord. Create the webhook in Discord: Server → Channel → Edit → Integrations → Webhooks.
* **When used:** Notifications are sent for scan completion, CertStream detections (new certificate matches for your monitored domains), and integration sync results.
* You can enable or disable Discord notifications in **Settings** → Notifications.

## Other channels

Currently only Discord is supported in the UI. The backend may support additional providers via configuration

## Availability

Notifications are available to all users who configure a webhook (or other channel). No plan restriction.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://bugrecon.gitbook.io/docs/features-list/notifications.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
